Terms & Conditions


• The Matchpoint coaching programme runs for 38 weeks of the year (2025/26) and fees are through monthly subscriptions (weekly coaching programme) or a one off payment (short courses or pay to play). The lesson programme does not run in the school holidays (subscriptions occur monthly and come out of your bank on the 1st of every month, payments are spread over the 12 months).

• All coaching fees are non-refundable. However in certain circumstances (at the managements discretion) credits/refunds may be given.

• For monthly subscriptions, you are required to provide 1 month’s written notice of cancellation. Please note if you cancel after the 1st of the month a refund will not be given.

• Pay and Play sessions – refunds will not be issued if you cancel less than 12 hours prior to the session commencing. If you wish to cancel and receive a refund please cancel before 12 hours. 

• Places cannot be held without payment and you may be turned away from a session if you haven’t booked onto it.

• Matchpoint coaching reserves the right to review and amend the lesson programme at any time (if this occurs plenty of notice will be given).

• Everyone on the coaching programme has to be a member of the Tennis Club, you can sign up on the tennis clubs website which you can find on our webpages. 

• We reserve the right to remove a player from the sessions if club membership hasn’t been paid (you do not need to be a member for holiday camps)

• If minimum numbers for a session are not reached, payments will be refunded.

• Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been received. Paid for spaces will be given priority.

• Sessions must be booked in advance to enable us to manage the coach to player ratio and confirm the amount of courts that we need to book.

• We do not issue refunds for missed sessions due to your own circumstances.

• All Matchpoint coaching sessions are delivered by LTA qualified, accredited coaches, and we cannot guarantee the same coach will be available each week but we endeavour to provide consistent lesson cover.

• Any session cancelled by Matchpoint (i.e. bad weather) a refund/s shall be made at the end of each term (December, April & July).

• Photography - we may take photo's from time to time for our website/social media and promotional material, if you do not wish your child to be in photo's please make us aware of this at the time of booking.

• All coaching programme players are required to wear suitable clothing to all coaching sessions (please see our welcome pack on our website).

• If you know you are going to be late for a session please let the coach know ahead of the session, if possible.

• It is the responsibility of the person making the booking to ensure that all details provided are accurate. In particular, full info about each adult/child including medical and other special educational needs, and emergency contact information. If we do not have all this information before the session/camp starts, your child will not be allowed to leave your care. We cannot take responsibility for the child/children until we have all of this information. 

• Matchpoint reserves the right to remove from our programme, without refund, anyone who is found to be bullying, misbehaving or displaying disruptive behaviour.

• Complaints - we are committed to ensuring every adult/child has a great time on our coaching programme/sessions. If you or your child/children are not happy with the service we provide then we would like to hear about it. In the first instance, please raise your concern with the Head Coach (Pete Ledbetter info@peterledbetter.co.uk). He will deal with the problem in accordance with our policies and procedures. If your problem is not resolved to your satisfaction, then please contact the tennis club. We take your views and complaints very seriously and will endeavour to resolve your complaint as quickly as possible.
